Construction Sign Estimator / Project Manager

Located in downtown Seattle, we are easily accessible by bus, light rail, and the Sounder train, and parking is available on site. Production positions are available for all shifts, but you must be available for overtime as needed.

Job Description

This is a new position for a high level sign estimator with Division 10 construction signage experience. We are looking for someone who has the project management experience and self-motivation to build a new division within our company to serve our construction industry clients with a new product line that complements our current offerings.

Responsibilities:
  • Reviewing Division 10 construction signage plans and specifications and producing comprehensive sign estimates.
  • Obtaining material and production quotes from vendors and negotiating prices.
  • Accurately managing project costs, estimates and pricing, project scheduling, material inventory, vendor performance, sign installation and permits.
  • Maintaining minimal cost variance between estimated costs and actual job costs.
  • Managing department costs and budgets efficiently and maintaining acceptable margins.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years in the construction sign industry.
  • Minimum of 3 years performing sign estimating.
  • Must have experience reading and understand Division 10 construction and specialty signage plans and specifications.
  • Experience managing Division 10 sign projects from estimate through to completion.
  • Knowledge of sign installation and permitting process.
  • Must have excellent math skills and be highly detail oriented
